I really don't see any relation by switching the mode. I only see this as a patch. The problem remains from the ISAPI approach. As Claudio has mentioned, if you could afford it and have some time, assuming you didn't do it, I would remove the SOAP Toolkit completely and reinstall it again. Note also that the ISAPI mode is the default mode. So, I would make sure that is working at least.
