Hello Bruce, I would guess the prob is the parent/child relation
I never use the data environment or the relations in the data environment, I find it is better to set them up myself (it also helps you understand the relation)
On the other hand, I do like to use the “grid builder” it does make things a bit quicker
>Thanks for the response. After setting up and testing all of the RI, I added the tables in question into the data environment of my form. All of these tables have Primary keys. I did not set relations in the data environment and have a Private DS on the form w/ Optimistic buffering. I seemingly could never get them to all function properly at the same time. I wld delete one grid at a time and then another wld stop functioning. However, I decided to skin the cat a different way. Simply put buttons on the form that BROWSE each table within the FORMs window. This allows me to add/edit/delete records just fine. All of the RI works perfectly. I am at a total loss as to why the grids behaved this way. Have done this in the past, but not with this many grids on one pageframe. Could there perhaps be a limitation??
>Thanks
