You might try the BITMAP=OFF setting in the Config.FPW file. SYS(602) returns its current setting. Also, make sure you don't use the @... commands, LIST, etc., because this also might lead to this error. Finally, VFP 5 and VFP 3 had a number of bugs which caused this error. If you are using these versions, you should upgrade to VFP 7 or at least VFP 6/SP5. Of course, you could also cure the root and figure out, why this particular query needs so much memory.
