Thanks...

OK, so I kinda tried some of that....I must be doing something wrong...

Let's say that the IP address of our web server is 211.12.13.14 and there's a directory called "PREG" that contains the app and the dbf's...

I created the LMHOST clinserv and restarted the computer. I then tried pinging clinserv, and got a valid response. If I open IE 6.0 and type

http://clinserv/preg/

I get a directory of all the files in the preg directory.

So now, if I open Windows Explorer, and try mapping, let's say, drive P to \\clinserv\preg\ I get an error 53, saying it can't find it...I then tried using the DOS command net use to associate the drive and the server/directory...still getting error 53....

If I try calling \\clinserv\preg\trial.dbf from a VFP program, it can't find it either....
