For development - Win 2kPro (IIS is limited to 10 concurent connections)
For small production web-sites - Win2k Server.
For large production web-sites - pool of Win2k Advanced Servers - has additional load balancing and recovery utilities compared to Server and Pro.

WinXP according to me is not stable enough for either production (Whistler) or development (Pro/Home)
