Tracy,

This site is at work of one of the members. This member could not be riched at this moment and it's late in Estonia now (9pm). So, there is no chance, that the site would work today :(

I can only hope for tomorrow...

I want to thank you again for all support and help, you and others provided.

>It appears to definitely be the server unless they changed their ip address somehow. I can reach the ip address with .1 and .30 on different ports and that usually means the routers are up, but the actually ip address is unavailable.

>>>I am not sure whether it could be the same reason, but our site was target of attacks that exploited unpatched IIS vulnerabilities. From 4th of August to today, there are 79 hits from 12 different IPs (AOL subscriber, Russian one, from Czech republic, Hungary, Spain, Israel (especially nasty attacks), three that are one hop to Alter.NET, two DSL subscribers of different companies and client of Barneys-NewYork.com). Some of this attacks has hanged our IIS server (hours when the server was down and the IP addresses of the attackers available on request). We have fixed the exploited vulnerabilities in our IIS and now it is running OK. I suggest that the russian team should check ther IIS log for requests that look odly (for example contain
..%5c..
character sequence).
>>>
>>>I hope the russian team will find the reason why their server is down and will soon fix it, so that judging can be proceeded.
>>>
>>>Kind Regards
>>
>>Thanks a lot for your kind words, Zlatin. I know, I personally visited our site lots of times starting from Friday 2th of August. I also gave our site address to several UT members whom I can 100% trust. I don't know other teams sites addresses and I never visited them, though I'm curious to see their work.
>>
>>I also know, that earlier on Sunday (about 12pm ET) Russian site was completely operational, worked fast and looked very good (in my opinion). Some members here know, how much efforts it cost me.
>>
>>I'm extremelly sorry, about what happened. Moreover, I don't know exactly, what happened, because I can not contact the owner of the site for several days.
>>
>>I received a generous offer from two UT members to give Russian WEB-project a new home. However, this process is complicated and we don't want to put their site in such risk.
>>
>>I can only hope at this point, that everything would be back to normal in few days and once again ask judges to forgive us.
>>
>>BTW, I have an impression, that my home computer was hacked several times during this weekend. And that it was hacked couple of times before... I just feel it, I was working and something happened...
>>
>>I'm not sure, how is this possible. I use IE 5.0 at home...
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
