>I don't understand your comment about F1 (makers of Vfe) taking a long time to support newer versions of VFP.. VFE was just released a while back, with versions for VFP 3 AND 5.... They are now working on an update for the 5.0 version to remove a few bottlenecks and fix a few known bugs.. PLus they are working on the NEXT version of VFE...

Tony,
I was referring to the fact that after VFP first came out and I was looking for a framework, Visual FoxExpress was still in beta. I joined the pioneer program (I own the product), but at the time, the documentation was not great, and I was uncomfortable doing development in a product still in beta. I ended up starting my project using Visual Extend, and I did many months of work before FoxExpress was released.
F1 seems to be much faster supporing upgrades now that the base product is out there. And as I mentioned in my note, the demo of FoxExpress, VFP and xCase that Peter Bennett has been doing at our group is quite impressive.
Regards,
Steve
