Hello all.
I have a question regarding business objects and the available requery methods.
I have a form with a page frame and 2 pages. Page 1 takes search criteria and displays a results set. The user double clicks a record, and is taken to the general page for the record.
I have a business object on page 1, Hpcalid, and a business object of page 2, Hpcalday. Hpcalid is the parent business object. I have Hpcalday with the parent field set to Hpcalid and the unique field set. I also have the 'requery on' ... fields checked. I have the Hpcalid lautoprimarybizobj set to .t.
Here is the rub. I have controls on the top of the page 2 that use the Hpcalidenvironement, and I have a control on page 2 that uses fields from the hpcaldayenvironment.
The control for the hpcaldayenvironment views correctly for the 1st click, but if I go back to the 'select' page to choose another record to view, the control on page 2 does not refresh to the new data.
I have stuck requery() for hpcalday in the activate event of both page 1 and page 2..however, the control does not refresh.
What am I missing? I have also defined a persistent relationship between hpcalid and hpcalday, as per pg 108 of the 6.1.2 manual, but still no results. Am I making this too complicated?
