Sergey to the rescue (again <g>)!
I've dumped the class--just using the raw control. I've narrowed it to something in my form *not* the control. Copied the code and controls to the sample form from MSDN and it works. Need to dig some more...

>It works for me under VFP7 SP1. I would try to create new form, drop control and see if it works. Maybe there's something in your class that causes the error.
