As far as C# was concerned, the debugger would get confused and step into the wrong part of a control block. I saw the problem mainly for catch blocks were the debugger is incorrectly stepping through catch code when the program should really have been running the finally block code as there was never an exception in the first place.

Not sure if C++ or VB had the same problem though.
