>>That explains why we work, but why do you believe that there is a reason to life? Can't you just live without having a reason?

>Reason synonym Motive, Purpose. Without which we can't live. If we live without a reason then we are even worst than pests roaming around the corner. Those Reasons/Purposes are motivation factors for me to go on with life no matter what the situation is.

You can find your own reasons, in the sense of "what do I want to make of my life" - I said this somewhere upstream in this thread.

The Reason, Motive and Purpose to your or anyone else's life are only a logical conclusion if you start from a religious premise that life was created. The idea that life was created without any reason, on creator's whim, probably wouldn't look serious enough in the dogma, so it isn't there. Instead, there's this implausible, yet widespread, belief that there's some supernatural and all-encompassing answer to the philosophical Why.

Keeping people thinking about that (and other similar non-issues) is just one of the ways the world's religions keep their power. Boggle their minds with things they can't understand (because there's really nothing to understand), and keep ruling their lives.

The extent to which this goes, to have people want this Reason to the point of suicide for the lack of it, is just showing the absurdity of this way of thinking.
