We where in the same situation and end up removing the VSS intergation from VFP and using them as two different programs

>I think the delay when you open a project is caused when FoxPro checks the check-in status of each file in your project. The only way I've found around this is to develop in one instance of VFP and test in another. This allows you to keep your project open at all times.
