Hi all,

We have an old Foxpro 2.6 application that we have deployed recentely to a site with updated equipment.

This app runs on Pentium III 500, with 128 MB of RAM, on Windows 98 with a virus scan running 3 times faster than at this new site on Pentium III 1 GHZ, 500 MB of RAM, WIN 2K professional, no virus checking.

In both cases database resides locally, file setting of 240 and buffer at 30 in the config, temp path confirmed and exists.

Any of you guys know of some known factors, settings that can drastically hinder the performance of an old app on WIN 2K.

Any ideas?
