>>However, your defintion of PostModern Nihilism may be somewhat more similar to my world views, but this is just a name, something that someone with an agenda created.<<

But surely everything is just a name, a conceit, an attempt to create meaning? If there is no morality, what is there but a collection of competing agendas?

>>Before "PostModern Nihilism" was coined, people like me were called "scientists". <<

Perhaps you mean that once scientists begin questioning metanarratives, they become Nihilists? Theorists say that nihilism is often rooted in a desire for Intellectual honesty. My response would be that science itself is eventually based on assumptions- try asking "prove it" every step of the way and you will see- so society should also be allowed to create metanarrative building blocks for itself. Any concept of "liberty" relies on that- otherwise society would be a set of endlessly warring selfish actions with others viewed as competitors blocking our inalienable rights; and there would be no "crime" because the criminal is not disobeying his own rules.

"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
