Dear Mike

Why is "contemplating your own existence" or "researching many positions" incompatible with attending service?

And who said that the service is the religion? It is just a sign, same as your UT image with dark glasses is a sign. Of course I have no UT sign at all, does that make me fictional? Maybe it makes me better. Or maybe we need to look past that and see the value behind.

Wiser philosophers than either of us have said that God is in the quiet places. Have you ever been truly alone? I mean "alone", not lonely? You think really interesting things when that happens.

Regards

"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
