Thanks for accepting my message in the spirit it was sent.

The note about the indexing being in the middle of the list is interesting. I wonder what
others might say about it.

The newsgroup I'm referring to is called "The Universal Thread", and it is one of
the leading ones for Visual FoxPro. The address is:
