I have a config.fpw in my VFP home directory with the following line:
_STARTUP=COMAPPS.APP
_STARTUP is a system variable that decides what to run on startup, it is pretty well documented in the help file.
In the application that is run, we set up standard tasks, shortcuts to projects and common tasks etc.
