Mazahir, my sympathies because that sounds like difficult problem; Error 183 is not documented as you know, it says 'extended error'. No doubt the Microsoft people know about this error, but for some reason they didn't put it into documentation. You should debug to identify the exact line of code that causes this. You said it happens when you click on menu choice. OK, so you have procedure being fired in menu choice? or menu pad? or command?. If it is command I would put such command in a procedure. At first line of procedure put in SET STEP ON, then follow every line of code that fires until the failure occurs. Maybe you're running an spr file to load screen. When you find out what line fails, then you may be able to solve problem. If not, you can call MicroSoft's error handling people. Now they charge a lot of money, $245 for each question last I knew. But they do a great job in my humble opinion, just way too expensive. Of course Microsoft stopped support for Fox 2.6, so I don't think they will help you. But pretend you don't know they stopped support, ask them who else besides them provides help services for a fee. Then you will probably find out who Microsoft has given information to about this error 183 and you can pay them to solve problem.
