It sounds like you haven't described the whole problem to us...

Is the errant machine running the same OS, file-system, etc as the working ones?
Are you sure that the other working machines actually DO execute the code that you suspect?
Is the errant machine a part of a network where other machines on the same network are running OK? (if so, is the errant machine acting as the file server or a print server or...???
Is there something special about the errant machine's USER (supervisory or has access to menu options others do not or typically runs other applications concurrently, etc.???
