>VFP is credited with a percentage of MSDN Subscriptions purchased. It is much better for my efforts and the Fox team if VFP developers obtained MSDN Subscrptions and not just stand-alone or upgrade version of VFP. We know the data and percentages by various surveys taken through the year which are very accurate.
Ken,
That sure sounds like an interesting formula. Is there some other product that gets credited when someone purchases a VFP upgrade directly, or is it that VFP is getting a big piece of every MSDN Subscription? In any case, it sounds as though VFP is sitting pretty from what you say, with no need for any marketing effort whatsoever. Just sit back and take a piece of every one of those MSDN Subscription sales, regardless of where they come from. A curious situation indeed!
