Well 10% might be a bit low, but I can confirm here that quite a few VFP developers I know do not participate in online forums (regulary). There are several reasons for this:

1. He/She has a colleage that is online frequently and acts as the knowledge channel.
2. He/She does not 'feel' they need to participate in an community because they 'already know it all'
3. He/She only works occasionally in FP/VFP and does quite simple stuff which does not need all up to date knowledge.
4. There is a language barrier which prevent them to participate the known online forums. They have to get their knowledge some other way that cannot be tracked by MS.
5. Their primary profession lies in other areas than developping software, but they use VFP as a tool to do their job.


I've got one client who travels all arround the world for the World Health Organisation to do research of eye diseases in third world countries. Actually he's a non-professional programmer who makes minor corrections to the applications I write for him. He is capable of designing a database and setup some simple reports but is not able to write a full featured database app. still he owns a VFP copy. He certainly is not active in the VFP community but is an active VFP user.
