yes. Just specify a different name when you're doing the restore. If the database does not exist when you do the restore, SQL Server will create it. If you create the database first, you'll have to use the WITH REPLACE option.

>Is is possible to restore a database to a different name. I move between different customer sites and each customers database is named the same (CTORE). What I'd like to be able to do is, backup their database (CTORE) and restore it on my machine as CUSTNAME_CTORE.
