I'd agree. Those venues favor propriatary tools, and among propriatary tools Kylix is probably #1 in Linux, but way behind KDevelop. More long time Linux coders probably use EMACS, or (vi + gcc) manually, on a console, than any other tools. The number of GUI RAD DEV tool users in Linux appears to be a function of how many WinXX VB, PB, etc... users are migrating to Linux.
