Hi,

I'm using a remote view to select 80000 records from a SQL 2K server. I have to retrieve 80,000 because I have to review each of the records. After getting the records I scan the results which works find and is very fast. However,(my problem) the DBA has informed me that request is hard on the server.

So does anybody have a suggestion on how I might better do this and keep the DBA happy?
