Gary, Just to test your theory I did a couple things.

I created a brand new form, based on the frmDataForm : the standard data form. I copied the mover to it. I copied the code to it. I performed the move successfully. Worked as it should, like it normally does.

Next I created a brand new from based on the frmDataChild : I didnt use the old one where the problem exists. Again I copied in the mover and the code. I perform the move and it blows up. I get an hourglass and the system is locked up. Seems to be in an infinite loop.

I believe I have eliminated the possiblility of problems with my code or with my mover. The only variable remaining is that frmDataChild. I only have one area of custom code in that form. I removed that code re-tested and the same problem occurs.

I contacted Tech support and he advised me to use the debugger and step through the events. I didnt have any luck with that either. Seems like a mover won't work on the frmDataChild.
