I've yet to see a machine advertized that didn't come with WinXP Home. I just bought two AMD Athlon XPs (one for my son who's going to college and one for myself). As has been mentioned, you may not be able to do web development on the Home version. For me, however, that's not that big an issue. I'll keep you posted on my experiences if you wish.
