I am in the process of moving some FPW 2.6a reports to VFP 7, and I have a question about the margins - in particular the Left Margin that is found in the Page Setup while in the VFP Report designer.

My app will be run on just about any kind of printer (laser-inkjet, but I not support dot matrix in this app). I have no control over what kind of printer will be used.

In FPW 2.6a, some user's were always wanting me to change the left margin as the reports seem to be centered differently on the paper depending on the printer.

Any suggestions on how to handle all this before I ship the app. with VFP 7? Or will this even be an issue with VFP 7?

I am going to:

BLANK FIELDS TAG, TAG2

to get rid of any printer specific settings from my end before I ship the product.

Does anyone know if the report "Left Margin" and "Width" can be gotton to with a built in VFP function of some sort so that I can change the settings if needed (I know I could manually change them with a replace on the report if needed)? Or, will this become a non-issue when I blank FIELDS tag, tag2?
