Hi Tim,
I'll try using "oemctrl oms start" when I get home.
However, if sqlnet.ora is set to (NTS), and it refuses to start by either "net start OracleOraHome81ManagementServer" or by going directly into the W2K Services MMC, would the above command make a difference?
Would the OracleOraHome81ManagementServer need to use a different security account? It is currently set to use the Local System.
I guess another curious thing is that, if I have the sqlnet.ora file set to (NONE) why can I start OMS but not log in to the DB as a SYSDBA with
any of the oracle user accounts?
Thanks,
- Brian
