A year or so ago I had to do the same. I tried to go the Adobe route, but their license agreement doesn't allow such things. My next step was to get a copy of the AMYUNI PDF Converter. After some tweaking of various W2k security settings, I was able to get it working. Their tech support was great (even before I bought the product) and the control worked as advertised. It's expensive up front ($800 to $1,150 US) but will easily pay for itself over time.
