>Gary are you using VFP3? VFP5? If VFP5 is the first form your top level form? Autocentering is designed to place each form in the center of the _screen, not of your first form.

VFP5.0a is the main form, but by resetting it to the demensions above in high resolution mode the form opens in the middle of the monitor and not the middle of the form which was reset by _screen statements.
