I'm sure I'll have people laughing at me for this one, but...

I just recently discovered that thread messages going back several years can be accessed. I've searched the archives on keywords in the past, but didn't notice how far back you could go.

Since I discovered this, I started to read threads on different forums (SQL Server, for instance) going back several years, because many people posted questions that I myself considered posting but never did.

I'd plan to do more of this, but was curious if there was some type of 'archive CD' for threads going back. Obviously, I can read them here on-line, but reading them on a CD might give me a little better response time. (I live in an area where I seldom get a connection better than 40 kbs.)
