>>Last week I encountered the situation that is was not possible anymore to have a UT-hyperlink on some page elsewhere without a Java error (and not showing the map concerned whatsoever). Just when I was posting it to you - and doing a recap of it all, "it went away" and I let it be.

Just tried it, and no, still there (or ... there again).
'parent.FRAMERMENU' is null or not an object.
Whereas last friday it was persistently there, at "some time" it was not anymore. Right now it is again.
I know, the Frame-stuff is tricky, for sure looking at the "map" facility, really showing no Frames at all, and it showing in its own browser instance. But (as you know) this CAN work.
Right now I'm having this on this page :
this link at the
discussion link in paragraph 2. The stupid thing is : when I try this link from off "Preview" (at creating this message) all works fine. Thus, clicking the link above loads this survey page, and click the
discussion link overthere -> all okay. I'm afraid it will be working for you too. But, I had this other instance of the survey page already loaded, and
that one gives me the error (at
discussion).
Obviously there may be a difference between doing it from here and doing it from overthere but I myself am puzzled because last friday it (suddenly) worked from "overthere" too. It can't have much to do with this other website, because last friday it wouldn't work from older references to maps at UT stored in another website either. And before (some 8 months ago) this always worked.
I just tried it with the UT Login instance at hand (initially it was not -> clicked away by me), but that doesn't help either.
I also tried the "Create a new thread to a member" and the click on the globe and glass (member search) again, and that works fine at this moment ...
Hope this helps you some bit,
