I don't think memory will be the issue as no processing occurs on the server. You may want to check the configuration of the network card on the server.
>Craig. Thanks for suggestion. We have tried with virus checking fully disabled but still slow, especially on SQL type queries. The main DB file has some 300,000 records. I am thinking it may perhaps be some memory allocation problem. There is stacks of memory around. I have come across this "slow problem" on another NT setup. Denis
