Hi Dave,
If You are using Word'97 and create DataSource everytime You try to open Main document you'll be asked where is the datasource. In word'2000 & XP there is no such a problemm. I have one decission for this problemm (I'm not sure that is the right way but still not think out something better). Open the main document in Word (w/o VFP) and remove any mail merge info (w/o removing merge fields etc.). Save document. Then try to open it in VFP.
