Hello,
there is no big differnce on creating remote views for MS-SQL Server or Oracle Server.
The error that you get is likely due to an incorrect SQL Query you're sending to it. To test this, copy and paste your SQL Code from the view designer into SQLPlus Worksheet and execute it there, or try to manually execute it over SQLEXEC() function.
Cause the normal view designer has some limitations, you might want to download an alternative, check out
www.geeksandgurus.com for View-Editor
or search for "eview" here in the download area.
