>>>Hi All,
>>>
>>>We have an in-house vfp6 app that is multi-formed that runs fine with one user and suffers a considerable slow-down for both users when a second user runs the app. The app runs on a Microsoft 2000 server on a gigabit switch. Any explanation and/or suggestions on where we go from here?

That looks dangerous to me - a virus can not only create a file, but also modify an existing file. Is it possible for you to exclude certain file types? A DBF, for instance, can become corrupted through a virus, but you can't get infected through it - so it is safe to exclude it.

What antivirus program are you using?

Hilmar.
