I believe that there's still a DBCC CHECKDB(). You might also want to run DBCC CHECKALLOC() (or NEWALLOC() if it's available.)

You also might want to look into upgrading to SQL Server 2000. It is a much much better product than SQL Server 6.5. Much better.
