How do I change the date format for an ASP.NET app?

In my development environment (W2K Pro machine with VS.NET) dates are displayed as dd/mm/yyyy and in the production environment (W2K Server with .NET runtime) as dd/mm/yy.

Is there any setting in the MACHINE.CONFIG or WEB.CONFIG that changes this behavior, or should I deal this in the code?
