Hello,
i've made some tests comparing the speed of ODBC and OLE DB a while ago,
and haven't seen any performance improvements on MS-SQL Server with OLE DB.
Actually it had taken longer to get the results over OLE DB and convert to an FoxPro cursor than to do it over SQL-PT.
Only on Oracle there was a significant performance improvement on using the Oracle OLE DB Provider over ADO.
The OleDbFox provider was a bit (about 5 to 10 percent) faster than ODBC.
But in my opinion it's not worth the effort to alter an existing app that runs well over ODBC.
Regards
Christian
