I know she lives in the U.S. now and this is her home too, but it may be that she knows of Russian developers whose web development work she has seen personally, is impressed with their professionalism, and would like for them to participate. I think many developers choose to work with other VFP developers they have worked with (or sen their work) in the past whenever possible. Also, her reputation will be on the line also with her boss in going this route and this may be a 'safe' route for her to go.

I feel like adding something to this :

Without degrading the skills of others, I can fairly say that generally whatever task someone from that side of this earth puts to him or herself, is performed at a 200 % or more. We from "the west" are less like that. We put our energy in houses, cars and that kind of stuff too.

I just have the experience that "we" are outskilled easily by "them".
