YES. And it corrupts the memo field pointers. Gone, gone, gone....

We have a memo fields holding word documents in a insurance production system.

One client decided to enhance their word document by placing a scanned logo on it. They scanned to logo at very high-resolution something like 50MB BMP.
To compound it they also inserted (not linked) the 50MB logo into the word document. It took only two days to exceed the 2GB limit.

We tried a couple of recovery tools but nothing worked....
