On this basis, some might equally argue that buying from Microsoft, Sun, Oracle, Borland, Dell, Compaq/HP, Intel, AMD... is "bad for the home market" for anybody outside the US. The reasons why people make the decision to buy are the same reasons why people might choose to employ programmers abroad.
