I AM HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS OF THIS "SERVICE"!
>Based on my prior (before there was any "trial" of the "service") rate of SPAM messages it sure looks to me that
this thing either generates SPAM or forwards existing SPAM to me as well as to original addressees!!!
>HOW WOULD I KNOW. . . there is no way that I know of for me to know, but I do know that it would be in the "service"'s "interest" to do so, to make it
appear valuable as a SPAM filter.

My ISP includes Postini as part of their normal service. I think it's GREAT. The amount of spam I get has dropped tremendously since they added it. I've added a bunch of "blocked" addresses, which has also helped. I could usually count on the amount of spam I got after posting a message on Usenet to jump immediately afterwards (even with a "scrambled" e-mail/reply-to address). After Postini, it doesn't.
It seems like once every couple of weeks a bunch of spam gets through (by "bunch" I mean maybe 5-10). I get the feeling they take the service down periodically for a while which lets the normally blocked spam through. I think you're just being paranoid ;-)
