What sample are you referring to, the ones at http://gotdotnet.com/team/vfp/ ? There is a whitepaper on this topic at http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/?url=/library/en-us/dnfoxgen7/html/usingaspnetwithvfp7.asp. You simply need the .NET Framework installed in the server machine, and you need Visual Studio .NET to open the projects to review/change the source code and all related components.
