Hi

Thanks

I know what you mean and I'm using currently something similar. The problem is that the users told me that this system to be cumbsy and confusing. There is no headers on a system like this, and also, with certain system fonts like Arial, that system does not work very well because of diferent letter sizes.

Currently I'm using Infragistics UltraWeb controls for bound data. I'm going to try and develop a user control (and when finished, perhaps migrate it to a Custom Control) that would be a panel with a textbox and a picture acting as a dropdown with postback. This way I can save some bandwidth because there is less data traveling to the client (DropDownList can be quite heavy) and only when a user requests a dropdown, show a datagrid with a few features, like search for an item or sort by header click.

Thats the ideia. I was expecting that some one had the same ideia and could give-me some guidelines...

Thanks :)

Best regards
