>>Consider your wish granted! <g> Late this week or early next week, we'll be releasing Stonefield Query to beta. Stonefield Query is an end-user application based on Stonefield Reports, but goes way beyond what we were doing in SFReports, especially in accessing non-VFP data. It's highly customizable (including scriptable, using VFP, VBScript, or JavaScript) through a configuration utility, so you can create versions of Stonefield Query for any application's data.
>>
>>One major change is in licensing. Rather than being a royalty-free developer tool, Stonefield Query is an end-user application that you can customize, so it's sold on a per-user license basis. Licenses aren't expensive ($99 US), and you can either sell them yourself (and make additional revenue on them) or the end-user can purchase them from us.
>>
>>We currently have 100 beta testers signed up (many of whom have never heard of VFP let alone being VFP developers), but we're interested in more. Anyone interested should send an email to support@stonefield.com.

Hi Mark,

check out Doron Farber's Visual Report Engine Pro (http://www.dfarber.com/VREP.htm) as an alternative.
