I'm having a problem with a job produced by the database maintenance planner. Everything seems to work except for my one main databse. I am backing up to a local drive. When I click Start Job on the job it changes to executing but nothing happenes. The job is set to automatically create a subfolder and it doesn't even do that. I can't seem to find a process for it either. Same goes for the transaction backup. It used to work fine and then it just up and died one day it seems. I've tried blowing the job and maintenance plan away and rebuilding them to no avail. Any suggestions much appreciated.
