That's not true. SQL-Select creates cursor always, even when zero records are returned.

>I use _tally after the select to determine if a cursor was created but, elseware in the application I need to perform actions upon the cursor but, I don't know a command in Foxpro to ask "Does the cursor exist at all?", like type() for memory varibles. Can anyone help?
