I went back and physically set the controlsource of the columns after the recordsource was set on the grid and it works ok now. But now I have a problem with my pview. First, I have never used views so I am new at it. Let me explain my situation. I have a table in which the employees enter time spent on job accounts. I have empno,weekending,job number,day1,day2...day7 in my table. I created a pview with my param as empno and weekending. I set all the fields as updateable and the empno as the key. Each employee can have several job numbers they work on in a given week. This seems to cause a problem when I run my form and update the grid by moving from one job number to the other. I get a warning that key is not unique. Thats really true.The unique key would be the empno,weekending,job number combined. How can I fix this?
