Let me see, if I'm getting you right:
1) Add this_access to the child object class in the FW.
2) In the container, I change that method, so it return a reference to my child object.

Is that right? Hmmm ... I could test this to see, if it has any side effects.

I'll let you know, but it might take some more days until my brain has enough free capacity to get back to this :)
